View Fleet stations during the English Civil War in a larger map
The map above plots the locations of fleet stations during the conflict. It's based on the hand-drawn one in J.R. Powell's The Navy in the English Civil War (1962).
Red markers are ports under control of Parliament, while Royalist and privateer ports are marked in blue. Many ports of course changed hands during the war, and though Powell's map doesn't give a date I believe it depicts the situation from early 1643, however I stand to be corrected!
